I have been very disappointed. Though I think he is back tracking somewhat on the liberal arts education stuff, his medicaid refusal (which would have cost the state nothing) is going to result in hospitals getting slammed, and giving massive pay raises to the cabinet while arguing that we have no money to spare is just stupid.
I was afraid he would just be a rubber stamp for the nutjobs in the legislature and that seems to be the case.

Was I the only person who saw McCrory say that he's sign whatever was given to him? I saw that last summer.
Don't worry, people like me will offset your ignorant vote. GO PAT!
I'm ignorant because I voted for Obama and Pat McCrory and regret voting for Pat McCrory?
This isn't football... The republicans and democrats arent sports teams despite having mascots. I vote on issues; not because of my "favorite team" ....
I can think for myself and have reasons for supporting who I support. I disagree with Pat administration as it relates to Charlotte. For example the Airport Authority Bill. I have lots of reasons though I doubt you'll be interested to hear because you only care about your home team Republicans. And McCrory wasn't the only Pub I voted for. I voted for Tim Moore also (though I don't think he had a challenger but regardless I liked him)

I think when we were talking about McCrory last summer or fall I said that if we had a Democratic legislature I would be inclined to possibly support him, but with the GOP legislature being what they are I would resolve to vote for Dalton, which I did. Either way the medicaid thing is going to be a disaster because the restructuring under the ACA puts hospitals in a tight spot if their states don't accept medicaid money.

I saw a clip last summer where a reporter caught him after Bev had vetoed yet another of their bills & he said that he'd sign whatever they passed. That was enough for me.
The Medicaid thing is just simple arithmetic. 8 Republican governors who had formerly opposed the Medicaid extension have signed it into law. The feds currently cover 65% of Medicaid. The extention would cover it 100% for 3 years & 90% after that. If they signed up for the Medicaid extension for 3 years & put the saved money toward the unemployment debt, there would have been no reason to slash the unemployment & increase the unemployment tax on employers. This will cost jobs just as their Amendment One did.
They run on jobs, jobs, jobs. Their record is hurting jobs.

Yup. if anyone was remotely aware of the crap that Bev was vetoing it should have told them that a vote for McCrory would not be a vote for trains.
