I saw Chuck Todd interview McCrory. The interview started with Chuck Todd asking him about the Medicaid decision & then went on to ask him about the the unemployment situation. I think that McCrory realized how pathetic his answers were, but that doesn't change a thing.
Next your 401k will get lumped in there.

No doubt.

The good part of this is that enough people who voted for McCrory will be so angered that he, too, will be a one term governor. This is only fitting after he trashed Bev, weekly, on a so-called public affairs show on WCNC for 4 years.

I am appalled at the damage this 'governor' will do to our state. I also read today that he is cutting teachers' salaries. (For the record, I do not teach.) Wonderful! Our children's education will fall way below the average (it was already struggling to improve) because good teachers will get sick and tired of this lack of respect, having to buy school supplies for their students because the school has no money left, etc. and quit.

I am also outraged with his need to begin fracking in our mountains (which pollutes ground water, makes people sick and greatly reduces property values because their homes have been tagged as inhabitable), off shore drilling (hmmm, ready for the oily beaches and lack of tourism?), etc. What else does he plan to do?

We can no longer afford to just gripe on forums. We need to put our energy and time into fighting to make a change and stop waiting for someone else to take the lead---I include myself in that statement. I wrote Mr. McCrory a letter tonight and sent it. I've had enough and am looking to start petitions to present to our legislature. If we don't fight for ourselves, no one else will. What do you think? Anyone ready to take the plunge?

Fight? He's trying to fix the broken wheel - it's called lack of cash to continue funding the operations. Where do you people think the money comes from if we don't have any? FYI - We are in major debt because of wasteful spending. We can't keep on that old path. Could you operate your household that way? If so, please share your successes. I agree it is time for change! Stop the bleeding, Go Pat!

More power to you. Your support will only grow and grow as this clown continues to prove he answers to special interests above the residents of this state - his constituents are limited to those that fund him. We've sadly devolved to this as it's become more about "getting elected" than truly doing right by the people.

What I find most disappointing about this - and I'm seeing at all levels of government these days... Current legislators are taken at their empty words and their actual actions are ignored. "We're broke, too much debt, too much spending, smaller government"... They latch onto these sound bytes and cheer - then ignore the fact that these guys give themselves raises and work on legislation to limit the rights of women... limit the rights of gays... religion... abortion... None of that has to do with debt, spending, and smaller government. It's a joke! Any support for these hypocrites only proves that people don't educate themselves on the real details. Just the little sound clips from Faux News.

Repubs cry socialism at Dem's economic policies, yet have no issue with their socialistic moral agenda.

Or, corporate socialism/welfare. No problems with that either.

so it's better that the socialist dem government dictates what is best for all, versus a privately owned company policy?

Thank God for Pat!

When one has a limited capacity for knowledge, it's best to keep a minimal number of talking points that can be easily reworded to appear different, but say the same thing.
