Default Older Single Adults

I have been in NC for about 13yrs now? Where are all the older single adults at? Not retirees, singles in their 40's, and 50's. Just don't seem to fit in here, even the churches have minimal singles ministries.......I don't care to hang out in the bars to meet anyone. If anyone knows of a large singles community let me know ok? Anyone else having troubles finding someone to just hang out with?

I don't live in NC, I hope to someday though. I am single in my early forties and I have met other single NCers on Myspace.com. I have a gal pal in Clyde, one in Asheville, and one in Waynesville.....all single and over 40! Give it a try! I am coming to Asheville in the middle of this month for a visit. Good luck, there are people out there, you just have to put some time in online.

Where do you live? That could be the key. Just google what you're looking for and see what comes up. I can understand you not wanting to do the bar thing. Maybe you could visit a large church with more people. I go to a church of 2500 in Concord (First Assembly) and they have an associate pastor just for singles ministries. There are singles of all ages in our church. Just hang in there and keep trying!!!

Default nc bound

Hello: just want to respond to the question of "where are the older single adults age 40's and 50's in greensboro?" I'm thinking of moving there myself but I have concerns and that is one of them. I am a 44 yr old african american female and I too would like to get some info regarding this. Would like to hear back from all especially other african americans in the Triad area.
