Hey folks we had about two weeks of really pretty weather. Getting some much needed rain now but still not too bad. Looks like it has cooled off enough to knock the mosquitoes back a bit. How are you recently arrived neighbors liking the Fall so far?

Its been nicer this year than last year thats for sure. The forecast is saying highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's! Doesn't usually get into the 50's until mid November. May not seem cold for yall from the North, but it's quite chilly for this time of year.

Feels chilly to me! I had a down vest on yesterday and today. Also rainy and kinda gloomy.. would LOVE to see the sun again. However, since we've had a well for years, I've learned to be grateful for any and all rain.

The leaves are starting to turn. I love fall! It's my favorite season

Regards,

Cassie

It's not even a dry heat in Houston either. It gets hot here too but only from mid June to the begining of September then it gets quite nice for the rest of the year.

It hasn't gotten out of 50's or low 60's since the big boom Thursday night, the sun hasn't come out since then either. It's supposed to be sunny and in the 70's tomorrow and up to 80 on Tuesday though. This is how autumn was a dud last year, the temperature kept going in rollercoasters; I hope it becomes a bit more moderate so we get some decent colors this year.
