Being polite southerners we reminded them of the NFC Championship game a few years back and even in nature there is no way a bird can beat a cat!!

I am glad however that the eagles beat the cowboys last weekend.

Note: this was all done in good fun and I for one really appreciate the "Northern" humor!
I hope you said that while close to an exit . I fondly remember when Michael Irivin (the famous Dallas Wide-Receiver and a fellow U of Miami alumni) broke his leg in Philly and the fans clapped! Oh they are a special bunch

As for NFL teams. I mostly see Panthers stickers and flags, but there are also a lot of Redskins and some Cowboys stuff. I never notice any other teams represented.
I've found the Redskinds fanbase here curious- prior to the Panther's franchise, I would have assumed the ATL Falcons would be a team to cheer for, but no one likes 'em? Possibly going back to the days when the Falcons and Bucs were always 3-12 for the year

Yep, the Philly fans are wild, no doubt about it. Or as I call them 'rabid fans.' DH is a to-the-bone Philly sports fan, but he's not nuts like some of them get. He goes the other way - he does get very serious and scowls. I'll ask him if he's enjoying the game, and he'll answer "Yes. Everything is fine." Okay, so notify your face!

I thought games were supposed to be fun?

Miker2069,
Prior to the Panthers existence, we got the 'Skins game every week on TV here in the Raleigh market. Guess that created the huge fanbase down here.
