Heather Grant and Greg Brannon both represent the Tea Party as well as Mark Harris, and that is why Bill Flynn is running to split the Tea Party vote so the Primary will be decided on who has the most money.

If Bill was serious about running for office he would seek the soon to be vacant Howard Coble seat.
He ran against Howard Coble last year and another challenger and Bill got the second highest votes.

Here is video of Heather.

So if Brannon is beating Hagen and Hagen is beating Tillis, would it hold true that Brannon is currently beating Tillis?

It's all Gobbledygook now anyway.

Of course Republicans will hold their supermajority in the G.A. Even if the majority of people voted Democratic they would still have it due to gerrymandering.

It is the spoils of war, and even though the Democrats controlled the process for a 100 years I think something should be done to fix it for 2020:

1. Take the state population; divide by the number of districts.
2. Start at the OuterBanks and move a vertical line east until you get the population of 1 district.
3. Repeat for the number of districts.
If you happen to draw a line through a voting block….too bad.
Simple and blind….no bias.

mod note

Lets keep this thread discussion on North Carolina US Senate Seat.
Unless discussion pertains to one of the candidates , discussing the General Assembly does not belong here.

Thanks

This thread began May 2013.
How about putting all to the side until summer 2014?

I disagree, as each of these candidates are working on each of their platforms now.

I wasn't excluding them for the suggestion. If anything it should start with them.

Ok, I follow. I added see post 37 in OP. I dont see these candidates pitting against each other but will be united in their attacks against Kay.

I wished Phil stayed in so I could watch cat fight between him and Tom.
