We have moved here from NJ and are looking for a family New Years Eve to attend. Our children are 13/15 years old. In NJ, we have done things like sleep at the New Jersey State Aquarium, The Battleship NJ, and Franklin Institute. Are there any family friendly New Years Eve celebrations in NC? We live just north of Hickory, so I would say about 2-1/2 hours from that area would be great

Raleigh's NY EveFirst Night" celebration is family friendly. They have a parade the whole family can be in, family friendly entertainment all day and into the evening.
