bostic (Asheville, Henderson, Hendersonville: homes, moving, land)

hi everyone,well we have been looking into moving up there from florida for a while now,started in hendersonville ,now we are looking at bostic,or at least rutherford county.can anyone give me some info on the area.we like it there because the homes are still cheap,can get some land to.i love small towns too,i can still drive to work in hendersonville or evan charlotte.one more thing how in the signals out there for nextels,gotta have em,lol.thanks....Gary

Verizon seems to be the cell phone provider of choice in the Asheville-Hendersonville area for signal strength. Sprint-Nextel might be alright for Bostic since you don't have the mountains to deal with there. Hendersonville is surrounded by mountains.

Yes! We're talking about my area
I hope I can offer insight...I try to help anyway. Nextel and Verizon are both useless in RC. I had to switch to Cingular after being a loyal Alltell customer for over 8 years DSL is a whole different story. It's patchy at best. However I know of a little area near Bostic that for some reason has great DSL when other areas of the county can't get it at all....go figure
