Default Charlotte/Greensboro/Raleigh Lexus Dealers

What a great board! My wife, daughter and I are relocating from Rhode Island to North Carolina in 2008, hopefully right around the end of the school year. My daughter will be entering 11th grade and we want to be there before the school year starts.

We're considering these 3 cities because I manage a Lexus dealership up here and would like to stay with Lexus. There are 5 Lexus dealerships in NC so it will depend on which has the right opportunity for me.

From reading this thread we'll be able to weigh the pros and cons of each of the 3 areas we're considering. We'll be renting a house for the first couple years until we decide where we'd like to live permanently. It's amazing what $1000 - $1500/mo will afford!

Any thoughts would be appreciated not just about the pros/cons of the 3 areas, but also dealership specific.

Thanks and we can't wait to get there! It's gettin' cold up here! LOL

Hi RAV Industries,
The best thing to do is search this forum for threads about each city. There are a lot! Not surprisingly, most people in each city really enjoy living there. You will probably need to come down and spend a few days in each area. A few things to consider. What size home are you looking for? How far do you want to commute? Do you want to live in the city limits?

The Lexus dealer in Charlotte is on Independence Blvd. You might want to concentrate on MLS areas 3, 4 and 5 Specificly the Costwold area in Charlotte. Mint Hill, NC and Matthews, NC (just outside of Charlotte) may be good options as well.

ETA some threads:

Thank you for your response. I won't be going to the Lexus dealer in Charlotte. I spoke with the GM and they only hire from within. So I'll either be looking at Johnson or Flow or go outside Lexus.

Thanks for the great links!
