Which college stadium in NC do you think is the best looking stadium overall? My choice is Carter-Finley Stadium slightly over Kenan Stadium!

Dowdy-Ficklin at ECU is a solid choice as well, though I think Kenan wins overall in terms of modern finishes.

Kenan stinks.

No where to park, no tailgating. No... people.

Carter-Finley and Dowdy-Ficklen are the only schools that have an air of the mystique of college game day football. And I think the experiences are similar, though I have to go with Carter-Finley. It's bigger. It's louder. And they have half time pass outs!

I know it is not "big time" football, but the stadium at WCU is pretty cool, kinda built into mountain side, cool views, just about the perfect size for that caliber of football. Remember the question is best stadium, not best team!

There's a reason it's called "Beautiful Kenan Stadium"!

Perhaps we should make it about the best marching band.

For those who have never seen the Pride of the Mountains marching band at Western - go. The football game is just something you through as you wait for the band.

As for the overall question in this thread, my vote is "none."

Well being Chapel Hill has zero football atmosphere, it would have to be between Carter-Finley and Dowdy-Ficklen.

I can vouch for WCU as I'm an alum. I was there for the epic comeback against App in 04. Yes, most games you waited on halftime to watch the band, but it was nice stadium, a good backdrop with the mountains, and great places to tailgate.

i have no dog in this hunt, and i'd say the best looking stadium is Wake Forest's Groves Stadium.
