Where are the spa goers?
I was advised to look in Charlotte area. As I have read the forum, I want to check out the Mooresville area and maybe even head towards Greensborro. I don't want to work or live uptown Charlotte. Do you think people are spending on spa services in certain areas more than others?
I have looked at some salon prices to get a comparison, but maybe someone has personal advise.
Thanks

I dont know quite know what you are looking for in your question, but in Mooresville i go to a spa ( i dont know if i can mention the name on the forum?) that i find prices to be in line with most other ones. It's not cheap but not unreasonable either.

I work in a spa in michigan and it is on a commision bases that I am paid. it is better to look for areas to work where people are into going to the spa.
Some more rural areas don't seem to be as busy. That's why I was looking for specific areas.
Thanks

South Charlotte and possibly the greater Raleigh area will be your best bets.

One of the best, most upscale spas in the nation is Ballentine Resort in south Charlotte.

Check out the Pinehurst Resort and Spa in Pinehurst, NC. This is in Moore County, about 1 1/2 hrs. south of Raleigh. Pinehurst is a nationally known golf community and is quite upscale. Many spa goers in that area.

Asheville has a great spa called grove park inn that might be a good place of employment, they are an excellent spa and have some great employees, just as a suggestion.
