Hello,

I am a pharmacy student at the University of Pittsburgh. I graduate next year and am looking to move to North Carolina. I am looking to work in Fayetteville and my girlfriend probably wants to work in Raleigh. My girlfriend and I were looking to try and live about a half hour from Fayetteville and a half hour from Raleigh (somewhere in between the two cities). Does anyone know of an area that would be good for a young couple with a small dog to move into with nice apartments and some places to go out to at night?

Sorry if the question seems kind of specific...I just have no idea where to begin searching. Thanks for any help you can provide!!!

-Greg

Hi! A good place to start would be the Town of Benson. It is about the same distance to Raleigh via Interstate 40 as it is to Fayetteville via Interstate 95. Both areas have just about every major pharmaceutical chain in the country. Benson has many amenities that small towns do not but you will have to travel about 15 minutes to Dunn for any major buying (heading towards Fayetteville) or towards Raleigh to the Rt 42 interchange, also about 15 minutes. Eating out in Benson, except for fast foods, is almost non existent but good restaurants aren't that far away. Night life in Benson is also non existent and you will have to travel a bit to find some. Try this link for Benson: The Town of Benson
