Default schools

Try looking at schools in this Wake County site and compare test results http://www.wcpss.net/There (broken link) are some excellent schools in Cary. That is where I live and I love it here. I moved here from Pennsylvania when My children were in Elementary school. They went to school in Apex and Cary both were excellent, of course some schools in the same area are better than others and some are traditional and some Year round . If I can be of any help just let me know .Nancy

HI there I just posted a thread asking about schools and I was wondering if you could give me info , since your kids went to both apex and cary. Did you prefer one over the other , and what are considered the best year round schools in both areas including elementary , middle and highschools. I do know there are websites comparing, but I would definitely love to hear from a mom who has relocated and done both schools. Thanks so much. My brain just hurts constantly worrying over where to go for the schools there !!LOL !!

Krusklan,

Please don't worry. I felt just like you when I relocated. It all turned out wonderful and my children loved it here. There are wonderful schools in the area. When I relocated here my children were small, so I decided to be involved and got a job in the school system. My experience was great as was my childrens. It is very stressful contemplating a big move especially with children. We are here to help you if you need us. Read your private post for my local info for you. it should help some in learning the area. You will be fine and know that you have alot of people in this area that have gone through the same thing. Your new neighbor possibly will have. Again good luck with everything.

Regards,

Debbie
