Default Defining the culture of NC???

Hi again everyone, this is actually NC question, but I was wondering what the 'impression' of NC is and what the 'character' in general (obviously a mass generalisation) is of the people of Charlotte and NC.

Here in Australia each city does have a distinct 'feel' to it. Sydney has a 'can do anything - entrepeneurial (spelt wrong) vibe, Adelaide has a conservative 'whatever' kind of attitude. Is there some defining descriptor of NC???

Thanks again for your wonderful help
