Hi folks. I'm at my wits end with trying to find a good job in or nearby Kinston, NC. I've been at it for more than a month and seem to be getting no where. I'm educated, have tons of experience, but all I get is "fill out an application and we'll call you." What's up with the job market here? Is it worth looking into Goldsboro or Greenville? Just don't want the commute to be honest with you, but might have have a choice. Any thoughts?
I live in Snow Hill which is in Greene County some 14 miles from Kinston in Lenoir County. I would recommend Greenville for jobs instead of Kinston, but that is just my opinion and I have lived here nearly my entire life.

This thread is 10 years old. I'm pretty sure the one-post-wonder OP has either found a job in Kinston, Goldsboro or Greenville, or moved on elsewhere long by now.
