I am a new yorker and my family is planning to move to hamlet....need some info general-prices of homes etc...in and around hamlet..thanks.

Hamlet is a great town, nice location, not too far to the beaches and such. I would strongly suggest living rather distant from downtown (try staying in a hotel downtown for 1 night, if the sounds of 100 trains in the middle of the night doesn't drive you crazy, THEN you can consider downtown )
