Kissing cousins, no blood realation...read

I don't think it is a good idea to marry that close and can't imagine wanting to marry anyone that close in kin to me either. But the sad part too and I have witness this with insufficient family knowledge that some people may be actually related after they have been together romantically and that does concern me. Back in the day mobility was a prime factor in marriageablity and who you could get to in order to be in a relationship with. Now the opposite is true and with the divorce rate higher and higher with half siblings the problem increases when you don't know who is married to whom and how you could or couldn't be related to. I am just blessed to have a pretty traditional family that knows everyone through about 13 generations. But people don't do that this much these days. And even when they do, sometimes they find surprises they wish they hadn't.

Bethany, my uncle married his first cousin and had a boy about twenty some odd years ago. Physically the boy is fine however, mentally, he has a wild addictive side. Not sure if their is any relation but it makes one wonder.
This one is kind of funny my two aunts married two brothers. One of those two brothers had been married previously and had two sons. My sister and I married those two brothers (no blood relation, sons of one of the uncle previous marriage). My sister had a daughter and I had three boys. To make a long story short my sister and I divorced the two brothers at different time for different reasons (the second generation of double set marriages didn't work as well) but there are alot of kids in the family with the same last name. And the bllod ties are kind of weird because my first cousin (children of my aunts) are also first cousins with my ex-husband because of their father and uncle. Confused???? Family gatherings are not akward at all, my ex-husband and his girlfriend comes over atleast once a month for dinner. My sister and her ex-husband can't be in the same room together.

I do believe you have topped anything that my friend Teri could top and I thought they had reached the top of being unusual. I get a headache just thinking about the ramifications of all that.

Hi bethany, there really hasn't been any ramifications. I was raised unfortunatley very strict, very old school raising. I was never allowed to speak to boys get calls or visits (same with my sister). Unfortunatley, our socializing was with the family. It was very easy to be attracted to someone that had NO family blood and was accepted in the home. Fortunatley when I became older and away from my parents grip (three children latter) I left the bum!!!!
Time goes by and people change and we have managed to be friends (we have now been divorced for over 14 years) and this is very helpful for our boys that are in their teens.

Well I am going to look at the website. I live in Hudson and I am telling you it is not a perfect little place. People here are rde and backward or perhaps inbred or something maybe that i why so many perverts it is natural. Sorry to be blunt but this place is awful.

I brought up the example of a married couple who got "frisky" in their tent while camping in the woods and got caught by a ranger....guess what, they're now on that list!
That floors me that a couple who is legally married and IN THEIR TENT could be cited for something like that. Sounds like the ranger had nothing better to do that day.
You're right though, you need to look at what that person is on the list for. I won't let my kids walk home from school just cause i'm worried about pedophiles and the like.

My son is 12, 5'6" tall and weighs 130 pounds. Yet I worry about him even when he is outside playing...when I hear the ball stop bouncing or the voices stop I'm nose to the window. I've watched too many crime shows for sure, but you never know...

I find it appauling that a married couple would get on the list for getting frisky in there own tent!!!! Wouldn't that merit intruding in there privacy?? I don't know I just find it a little unfair to be blacklisted for that.
