Wake, Madison, and Jones. The latter I remember is where that desolate stretch of Highway 70 from Kinston to New Bern is located. Madison I went through once and remember seeing confederate flags among beautiful mountain backdrops.
Good thing living around people who are JUST LIKE ME is not a priority. : D
Interesting: I got the same results. I would have expected Chatham, as I am a liberal with no Southern accent. I have no idea why Clay County way out in the mountains is a match. Then does Pamlico have a lot of transplants? Or is this all a statistical fluke with no significance?
It picked Watauga, Edgecombe, and Wilson for me. I would NEVER live in eastern NC, other than maybe on the coast. I even picked Lexington barbecue as my choice. The survey should have asked about beach and mountain preferences. At least it was close with Watauga, since I live in Avery. Forsyth would be my second choice.
They give results where rest stand at bottom of next question with analysis of all results and what counties fit you at the end.
The three counties chosen for me are counties I never been in or drove through without stopping.
The counties chosen for me are: was Jackson, Jones and Harnett counties. I would like for Jones county to be on my bucket list of place to explore because of it has a lot of history.
#northcarolina
I took it and it showed:
Gaston, Warren, and Cherokee counties.
I wouldn't live in any of them, so the poll is .... well interesting at best.
