I just took the test and there are a lot of regulatory stuff on there such as how many point on your license to you get for things and how long your license is revoked for certain things....nothing to do with common sense..

The reason your skipped question did not come back is that you reached a passing score without it. When I took the test I did not miss any, but as soon as I had answered enough to pass, the test ended.

Yea NC makes it too too easy for anyone to get a DL.

I took the test and passed after reading the book over once. They also did not take my out of state license. They mailed me my current DMV license for and now I have one per state. I took the test a couple weeks ago.

I've consulted with about 12 different people and it became pretty obvious that there are two versions of the NC written driver's test. One is really hard and the other one is a piece of cake. One of my friends even compared the two versions. If you get the hard one, you can retake it and hope you get the easy version the next time.

Does NC have a vehicle tax like SC? Also, my g/f and I are moving to Union Couty, NC. I am assuming that I should get my NC license and if I pass, then register my vehicle(s) in NC.

If you buy vehicle in NC you will pay a HUT tax. Its one time only
When you register your vehicle within 3 months you will recieve a property tax bill, its yearly.
