You stated this to what I said about a landslide. This is irrelevant to what I stated about the landslide. I assumed that anyone fooled by the electoral map, would not have done this.

What Clinton got in 92 is irrelevant. I am glad he won that election as I never trusted anyone in the Bush family, but that election also had a relatively strong 3rd candidate, Ross Perot. Perot might have even won a few states had he not shot himself in the foot on the way.

When did I do this? Furthermore, this really has nothing to do about the topic at hand.

Non Sequitur.

There is no such requirement to participate in order to participate on this forum. If you believe there is, then what are you doing here?

Your opinion is incorrect. Clearly I was speaking about 1980 because I referenced Carter and John Anderson. Neither ran in 1984. Reagan did come closer to a landslide in 1984, but he still failed to match Nixon in '72. Now that was clearly a landslide.

Revisionists don't like to talk about Nixon vs Reagan, but IMO, Nixon accomplished a lot more.

What does this opinion have to do with this topic?

I also said I voted for him. i.e. The world isn't just red & blue.

OK, I accept that you were stating that you believe there is significant difference in the political parties. No argument from me in what you believe.

I did not state this. But since you can only see things in terms of Red & Blue (your words) I can see where this would be the only conclusion that you can accept. You are correct that it isn't about me, but when you can't logically argue your point beyond opinion, then you are left with addressing the messenger rather than the message.

When you fall completely for party dogma, and I've said this to Democrats as well as Republicans, you have stopped to think for yourself. So be it.

There is no difference between partisans whether they be democrats or republicans. They make exactly the same arguments.

This thread is going nowhere constructive and has left discussion about North Carolina over 40 posts ago. If you want to fight over opinions, go to politics.
