I recently got fired and immediately filed for unemployment. Today was my first weekly certification. However, this was the response I got once I certified: "Your claim has been accepted, but we cannot issue a payment at this time, because our records show that you are currently monetarily ineligible."

What does that mean?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think it means that you have not earned the minimum wages to qualify for benefits. How long did you work?

You probably have to wait, That message pretty much states that at the moment, you are unable to get paid by them. Maybe you haven't been fired long enough, idk, i'd just wait a bit and see what happens.

You don't get paid your first week if I remember correctly. You may want to contact them and find out
