Good point. If you're feeling particularly pessimistic, this represents an additional opportunity for law enforcement and/or local jurisdictions to make an 'iffy' stop, stack charges or drum up additional revenue. I'm just not convinced we need to legislate annoyances, particularly when enforcement is discretionary.

Maybe a website to report drivers who squat in the left lane...Similar to:

NCDOT Roadside Environmental Unit


I think unlike littering, which everyone knows is wrong, I think some drivers just don't realize they are accordionin' up traffic behind them and creating a dangerous situation. A note in the mail may be enought to make them at least think about it.
