Default Looking for info on Property in Taylorsville and Stoney Point

I'm trying to find out what a piece of property is going for in both places. Both properties have existing older homes on them. The one in Stoney Point is zoned for business. These properties are to be sold and then devided between 8 people in a will. The properties have been turned over to a realtor and I'm waiting to hear from her.I have no idea what the properties are worth. Can anybody lead me in a direction as to who to contact. The realtor is suppose to contact me with a price she has listed for both.I want to talk with someone other than her to see if we are getting a fair price for both. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Property is "worth" whatever people will pay for them. Depends on the zoning, what the area is like (or projected to be), surrounding, etc
Try the Alexander county courthouse for an idea of the tax value, but you'll need, at the very least, an address or a plat number. Of course, you could go by and look....

Thanks for the advice Mary.I guess I will wait til I hear from the realtor so I can get an address.I have been told that the property can't be sold until we all agree on a price.I just want to find out the actual price and what the realtor gets before I give my go ahead.
