Why in the world did you decide on Spring Lake? For what it's worth, no I would never recommend anyone move to Spring Lake, ever. It's a godawful place.

My first question as well..there are areas in Harnett County that are good (Anderson Creek,) but the location in relation to amenities still makes the area questionable unless you are working at Fort Bragg..Why not Sanford? Even Johnston County like Four Oaks might be better situated for shopping and some night life in Smithfield.

I'm wondering about that as well. Is it because it's near Ft. Bragg?

What kind of "advice" do you need? What is your reason for moving, why Spring Lake? What do you know about the area that made you decide on it? Etc.?

Just asking "any advice" without other details is not the best way to get what you're looking for (whatever that is).
