Question Raleigh and Charlotte differences

We are considering a move to NC and know very little about the state. Was wondering if people could share their opinions as to what the differences and similarities are between the Raleigh Metro area and the Charlotte Metro area. Thanks for the info

This is a valid question, but it gets asked a lot so there are a host of threads already discussing this. I would do a search on the Raleigh and Charlotte forums. Here are a few of the many threads asking this type of question. You may notice trends one way or the other based on what board your question is posted. FWIW, I like Raleigh and Charlotte. I find there similarities far outweigh any differences. I find that in the end most people trying to decide between the two go where the best job opportunities in their field are located.
