Default closing up a vacation home

Hello all, I was hoping to get some advice from people with Vacation homes. What is the best way to close up a home if you're not going to be there for over a month? Should I turn off the water? Should I turn off the power (Breakers)? Should I leave the thermostat normal or turn it down to 60? I am a little concerned about pipes freezing so I turned off the water main and opened up a kitchen sink faucet (to allow for expansion). I left all power on so that the heater could keep the house at 60. Am I missing anything or doing anything wrong? I was a little concerned about the hot water heater having power but no water pressure. Any Advice?

Well if the hotwater heater is electric you could turn the breaker off to it.

Just a thought.
