Brace yourselves. Mine went up by 20%, no accidents and no claims or tickets in 8 years.

Going shopping. This was Allstate.

Fuming.

While agree for most part on the zip code but I think region works good considering NC is high commute to job region.
I assumed rate was base on estimated mileage. When I saught to renew my policy the agent ask me if most of my driving was leisure or work and guesstimate on my daily miles driven.

I can't find any information that the video claim of a bill with these changes.
It wasn't mentioned in the news articles about new laws for October 1st that I could see.
Im also speculative information coming from an insurance company without having valid proof any changes.

Insurance rate changes are handled by the NC Dept. of Insurance, not the legislature. This information has nothing to do with new laws.

True, but I did a search before posting. I just took your info in hopes they would maybe have the info on their site. Lol the doi site looks like hasn't been updated in design since the '90's

I'm just skeptical of the info when video back door plugs

I guess I'll find out in January but doubt it would effect me since my insurance is base off a rural area.

I looked at the DOI site as well and am less than impressed. You'd think they'd post a news release about a fairly significant statewide rate change.

If you really want to know, call your insurance agent tomorrow. I plan to.

I hope mine doesn't go up too much. Low insurance prices when I moved from FL were such a relief.
