Pinehurst, Southern Pines, 7 lakes, all have golf and tennis. For the kind of money you're looking to spend, you have your choice of neighborhoods, clubs and towns.
Whispering Pines, Woodlake, also have golf and tennis. Pinewild, The Natiional, and Pinehurst #7 are at the pricier end of your spectrum, but you might find a nice deal on one of them.
With 42 golf courses in just Moore County (and more planned and in the process of being built) places to golf are not really a problem. Tennis courts are best in Pinehurst and 7 lakes.
If I can be of further help, let me know. I'm not in Real Estate.

Dan Askins is on a distinguished road
If you want to be a part of the Pinehurst Resort, you will need to buy a property in Pinehurst with a membership attached. The Pinehurst #6 community has several homes in your price range. If Pinehurst membership is not important, you have all kinds of options, including a good amount of new construction with nice amenities, such as granite tops, hardwood and tile. If you want to look at anything, I am a licensed NC Realtor with Fore Properties. Feel free to give me a call or email. Dan@DanAskins.com or 910-528-7003.
