They should all be ashamed. Cooper is asleep at the wheel again.

And if Cooper was a Republican you wouldn't be posting this.

Your righteous indignation rings hollow.

You will concede there is a difference between differing political philosophies and crass partisanship? And are you able and willing to see the difference?

My apologizes. I forgot that because he's a Democrat he has an automatic free pass. Can't believe it slipped my mind.

LOL. You're so funny.

But at least you now reveal your real motives for posting this in the first place.

It's important to remember that a young girl needlessly lost her life, and that's a tragedy the family has to be facing unimaginable grief over. Partisan politics is the last thing that should be mulled over in circumstances like these, nor is it appropriate or relevant as a factor in the situation. For the family, nothing is ever going to truly make the situation "right". Also, the article doesn't really give Cooper's side of the story (which the article itself acknowledges), so there's not enough information to know what was going on with the case to result in delays that his office was sanctioned for.

of course! are you able and willing to see that was aimed at the opening post?

edit: whoops my bad - I thought this was posted in the Raleigh forum! Mea culpa!

Lastly, unless my cursory skimming of the "article" was too fast - as a Republican, wouldn't you "generally" want the AG of the state vigorously defending the people of the state from large trial lawyer jury awards?

But there is always enough information for someone of the opposing party to pass judgment.
