So what? I never denied democrats voted for it. I even gave the numbers. The point is, its irrelevant. The bill was conceived by republicans, voted on during a special session called by republicans, introduced by a republican, approved almost unanimously by republicans, and signed into law by a republican. If the democrats had been in charge of the GA, none of it would have happened. That is the truth.

The significant actions will be if conferences, conventions, and events are cancelled. That is what worries the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

Conventions and events already on the books are many times hard to cancel without penalties at least in the short term. What do you think is happening in companies all around the country that are deciding on future conventions and conferences. Lets see we have six locations to choose from and one is NC. That is what the NC chamber should be worried about. The longer this goes on the harder the hit will be for them. Hopefully someone in the chamber and travel sector is telling them this. But I'm sure their answer is Hogwash.
