Charlotte and Raleigh got the privilege of being a handful of cities that needed their state also listed.

Raleigh is moving up to 500,00 people and Charlotte is ready to crack 900,000 people.

I have family in Raleigh and may friends in Charlotte. We never compare the two cities.

Both have things that other city does not have, but show me 2 cities that just alike.

Charlotte is adding more people per year than any city in the state, and you you can see it in the traffic every day.
Raleigh is second in the state for adding people.

So North Carolina would not be showing all it great gains in economic growth without Charlotte & Raleigh.

What is the big problem in NC is we have too many counties that are losing population and jobs.
I hope we can see a turn around to this problem soon.
You are not kidding about the traffic in Charlotte. I was on I-77 during rush hour in the morning in uptown a few weeks ago. Yoy can quickly see why light rail was needed in Charlotte.

Not sure if this was posted already but big shootouts to Raleigh and Charlotte for yet again being some of the best places in the country.

I think ive asked before but never got an actual answer.

Isnt there like a "Charlotte Development News" thread in the Charlotte sub forum? Surely posts like this would be much more appreciated and relevant there...
