Ha! I don't think that's how it would go 99% of the time.

Honestly, if you're a decent male athlete and you want a better chance at college scholarships, you may want to claim a female "identity" for a couple years. Considering the amount of student loans these days, I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few people try it.

I've said it before & I'll say it again, if I was on the city council in Charlotte I would have insisted that lawyers go over the bill to make sure that there were no loopholes for Raleigh to grab onto.

In my opinion, as a female, there is nothing pro-female in HB2.
How about showering with you? What proof will you require from the dangler that they feel female while they shower with you?

So you just quoted me, then argued with me, about agreeing with me, about the very part of the law I said should go? Say what.....

It's interesting to me how many males think they need to speak for women and seem to know what they do and don't want. The GOP is notorious for that as are their followers.

Since gender is only preference, why wouldn't they? Wouldn't you agree that men can identify as and speak for women if they choose?

I don't say that I speak for all women. I think Democrats say they speak for all women. Obviously a lot of women disagree with that because they vote GOP or other parties.

I'm all for a voter referendum just on this bathroom issue to see where we stand. My prediction is majority of women oppose allowing 'transgenders' into the bathrooms and locker rooms.

Exactly. I find it demeaning & insulting that the GOP men think that they should be able to do this crap in the name of women with one hand & take away the right to sue for discrimination in state court with the other. How stupid do they think we are?Apparently, pretty stupid.

ROFLMAO! You told me that my opinion didn't count because it wasn't your opinion concerning you wife, who probably is in SC, even though I live in NC & it's a NC law.

Look up Phyllis Schafly. She torpedoed the ERA ammendment. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I said if only one woman opposes it, then it shouldn't be allowed. I never said you can't express your opinion about the issue. Your opinion won't count in the sense that the bill stands or a voter referendum opposes transgenders in opposite sex bathrooms.

I find it odd that this is something a woman would be enthusiastic about though.

I have worked in Charlotte in the past and may end up moving back at some point due to it being a nuclear power hub.

What's the chance that you can't find one person opposed to anything.

Look at it this way. You have probably been in a bathroom with a trans man & your wife has probably been in a bathroom with a trans woman. You lived through it.

If you still don't get it, google trans man. Then hit image. That's who you're good with being in the ladies rooms with your wife. Then hit trans woman & repeat the process.

As to locker rooms, & kids, I never used a shower in school. Only a handful of females used the showers in my 4 years there. Many of the girls wouldn't change in the locker room & the took the gym suit & headed for the bathroom & went into stalls behind locked doors. Unlike you, I am a female & had 4 years of mandatory gym class. I actually know what happens in the girls locker room in a high school.

Did I say that I am enthusiastic about it? No I did not. I am not hot & bothered by it. I am insensed that males still think it's fine to speak for women. Who the hell do men think they are to speak for women, including total strangers? That's what I think. This is not the 19th century.
