I didn't use bad language and I wasn't inappropriate - I was just stating my opinions. So much for free speech. It's pretty clear that the only Constitutional right the GOP believes in is gun ownership, though.

not sure why a politician would want to allow his political opponents to beat up on him on his own facebook page during an election year.

free speech doesn't mean other people have to give you a platform. your criticism of him is he is a racist, bigot, etc. that is inappropriate and insulting.

While annoying, censorship on commercial forums and websites isn't protected free speech. If it were, I could sue the pants off a couple overzealous "progressive" moderators around here

Yeah, I realized that right after I posted. But still, shouldn't there be better grounds for blocking than "he disagrees with me"?

Probably, but with all of the negative press lately, they've probably had a lot of nastiness and trolling. I'm sure they're hypersensitive these days and you were just collateral damage.

Personally, I would say "bring it on," but they likely don't want to host flame wars between supporters and opposition. Would you expect any different from other politicians during controversy?

I wouldn't automatically presume there is a bias. I have been censored in my posts a few times for giving my opinion and it was quite the opposite of conservative. In fact, I have been baffled more than once as to why my posts were censored when others are kept that are nasty and attacking in nature when mine were not. Go figure?
