Default Building Hopeful in Davie County

I recently retired from the Fed Govt in Washington, D.C., moved my family to NC, and am currently living in Forsyth County. I am hoping to build in Farmington on my family's property in a year or two, but have no idea what the cost is to build per square foot. Does anyone know where I might find that information without actually contacting a contractor? Thanks in advance.
