If Cooper did that, Berger and Moore would simply laugh at him. I seriously doubt that the General Assembly is willing to work with Cooper. The guy hasn't even took office yet and they're already trying to screw him.
I disagree. Cooper is in office for 4 years and has a bigger bully pulpit than Berger and Moore (they really do not want to defend in public what they are doing in the dark of night).
The press and the public are not on the side of a few people who want to nullify the vote of all the people and will crucify them for making a naked grab for permanent power.
I dont really feel this is right but have we really forgotten all the drama cooper spun up about doing his job as AG over the past 4 years? Refusing to do his job, forcing the state to hire outside counsel etc etc
I don't really feel this is right but I cant say its suprising the NCGA is aiming to take out cooper's kneecaps.
Ahh yes, him not defending an unconstitutional law. Gah what was he thinking not defending the crap that comes out of the GA. How dare he!
This just proves the dirty tricks of the Republican Party. They can't win fair and square. They're just like spoiled children, always have to get their way.... inexcusable....
