If he'd been attacked, there would have been laws to protect him... just like they protect all the other people in this country and in every state and city in the Union.
Assault is illegal. So is harassment.
Some people yelled at him for a few minutes. Boo. Hoo.
Baby.
At least McCrory wasn't actually crying about it.
It is a bit encouraging that "we the people" have chosen to start organizing ourselves so that our elected officials (past and present) are made aware of issues we're concerned with.
I don't know dude, chasing a former governor down an alley, his aid having to push people off of him, after the idiots went wild in DC rioting. I would certainly rather take my chances with a judge, than with a mob.

There's some parallels with this "proposed" law and HB2. HB2 had ZERO punishment associated with it. The only way someone would get arrested would be from laws already on the book.
Thus, this is a dumb law. Finding a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

I am really appalled you would say that. I hope you were joking all along, but that attitude is exactly why we need stricter gun laws. You don't need to shoot people for yelling.
McCrory destroyed NC and tried to handicap Cooper coming in. This kind of governing hate drove my family to support the boycott of any NC sports and businesses. But we did give a realtor business when we sold our house. Buh bye NC.
