Smile need a fresh start

I'm a 43 year old female, divorced with an adorable little black dog. I'm thinking about relocating from Indiana to the Edenton area. How is the job market? Housing? Lifestyle?

Why Edenton? Do you have family there? How did you hear about the area?

I did a search on the best city's to live in North Carolina and Edenton popped up. I have a grown son in college, he won't be moving with. My familyI is located in Florida and Indiana. I lived in California for two years but I missed what I thought was the layed back life in Indy. When I moved back I realized my little town has trippled in size, it's takes me 5 minutes to get out of my neighborhood because of the traffic. I love the water and southern hospitality North Carolina offers. I'm looking to relocate around March of 2007.
