Knightdale is right on the edge of Raleigh. That's pic could be representative maybe 25 years ago but not really anymore. There really isn't a large native population anymore,in contrast to newcomers. Now once you pass Wendell or Wake forest it becomes more rural. The Garner one is spot on.
He got Durham wrong. That's Rocky Mount's picture.
Whoever made this forgot to put in cities west of the Triangle (Where's Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, Hickory and Winston-Salem?). I also think they left out a few areas out east as well

They didn't forget. I think it was supposed to be Triangle-centric with some common weekend beach destinations thrown in. I'm not sure why this was moved by a moderator to the state forum.
Obviously this is in jest, but it is funny. Some are dead on accurate (as far as stereotypes go). Others not as much, or should I say the stereotype is rapidly changing. New Hill (on the edge of Apex) is changing at a feverous pace and is not a cheap place to live anymore, especially not the new development out that way. Land prices have skyrocketed. Of course maybe that's what they mean with the photo of the Beverly Hillbillies. Their land price skyrocketed when they found the bubbling crude ;-).
