Default Info on NC

Hello,

I'm currently based in MI and with the winter(s) we've been having, it's getting a little too much to handle. I've lived here all my life (25 years) but am interested in a nicer climate, mostly, along with a career outside the automotive industry (I'm an engineer). Can anyone give me some information as to good cities for young professionals/young families? I'd just like to get a real perspective on this state and if it may be the right one for me. Any comments are appreciated!

Laura, for some reason I thinking you should check out Greenville, SOUTH Carolina. It a really nice, thriving little city that people your age seem to be flocking to. Best of luck!

Have you decided on a city? I am from Mi. We are moving or looking to move for a similar situation. "The Weather" I am a nurse and my husband has a very successful Construction company which is the bad part because we would be leaving a lot behind and we know thats not easy to get started back up. However, we are looking for a nice community. We are looking at Salsbury, Morgantown but are very unsure. Let me know what you come up with. Good Luck!
