This is a nice list, especially for us who don't live in Charlotte and don't have a good way of seeing how big the banking industry is there. The top 6 banks, alone, are good enough to make the difference in Uptown's job market. I am sure that JPMorgan Chase will also open a major center in Charlotte when they enter the NC market; I don't know exactly when.

Are those by Bank Deposits? If it's by workforce, Ally and US Bank should be near the top in terms of financial institutions with large operations in CLT.

US Bank -900 employers.
Goldman Sachs is here and also. It has and has an office building uptown and is funding the Legacy Union office tower.
All have operations but branches as of yet.
