FNB Tower in Raleigh has the highest prices in Raleigh as I recall.

I suspect the soon to be named Nexus Project apartments to be even more expensive due to their location next to Nash Square and the Warehouse District. The Nexus will have 4 towers (Nexus Office Tower, 20-story hotel, 20-story The Nash Condos, and a 20 story apartment tower).

According to some rumors, the Nexus Project is being redesigned due to the removal of the height limit in feet plus some issues with the interior street design. I would be surprised if they didn't upgrade the office tower to the full 20-stories their zoning allows.

Honestly, given the pro-growth city council, the developer could ask for 40 stories and expect a short approval process but not likely to happen.

Well doesn't look like Raleigh's lack of a large river is stopping us from planning a waterfront district.

"The Midtown Waterfront District is a place where urban life
and activity will take occur along the water’s edge, a place that
serves as a destination for Midtown residents and beyond. New
crossings of the Crabtree, a restored and opened-up waterway,
and a storm-resistant and runoff-absorbing park will combine
with housing and retail to create a place unlike any other in
the City."

I believe that the position is that Crabtree Creek is as significant as some cities' rivers. While I know that it has the potential for substantial flooding, I am not sure that I can concur with that previous assertion. Then again, I don't know how it may behave once it's restored. The span of the creek goes from being daylighted to piped and back again.

The proposed midtown ring sounds very similar to Greensboro's downtown greenway which is a 4 mile loop around downtown.

Quick question but what is going on in front of the Charlotte Airport Entrance . I’ve been trying to find info on the development but I can’t find anything. I’m talking about the entrance from Wilkerson Avenue. Any insight would be most helpful.

Well its Jacksonville, which is an hour drive to Wilmington. I'm betting they are not minding setting up in Hampstead, Topsail Island area...

And anyway there is this part of it from the article...

By moving all Raiders to Lejeune, the Marine Corps will save $55 million between 2021–2026

I'm sure all taxpayers support this move.
