Hello All,

Just discovered the forums here a few days ago and have learned alot.

I will be making a road trip thru NC, SC, GA, FL in the last 2 weeks of December this year.

My plan is to look over area's for a future move.

Looking for any information or suggestions anyone has on area's that "if you were me" you would definetly miss or hit while in the area.

A lil "breakdown" on me:

I currently live in Arkansas, so guess I wouldnt be considered a yankee....

I am interested in area's that I would be close to saltwater fishing, boating, golfing, and other outdoor activities.

I am a working class guy so somewhere with affordable housing(would probably rent first, before buying)

Interested in area that would have good job opportunities, low crime,
dont have kids as yet, so schools are not top priority now.

Thanks for any info.

I'm not as familiar with the coastal communities as I am with other parts of NC, but I didn't want you to feel ignored Search these threads for info on New Bern. From what I've heard about it and read about it here that sounds like the kind of place you might like. Good luck!
