Default Best Area for Families

Hi
My family and I are thinking of relocating to North Carolina from Maine. My mother in law lives in Cornelius. We have been looking at homes to rent in the area and Cornelius seems a bit high for what we can reasonably afford. Towns I have noticed that have reasonable rent prices are Concord, Mooresville and Kannapolis. Any information on these towns and how they are to raise a family in would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Depends on what area of Charlotte you will be working. Charlotte is quite large and very spread out. Mooresville & Concord are both nice...but the commute into Charlotte during rush hour in the morning and leaving in the pm is NOT enjoyable.

GOOD LUCK!

Hello; I just noticed your original post. My family and I are considering moving to the Cornelius area. Wanted to know what you or your mom think about the local people. My family is Bi-racial and we are looking for a diverse loving, friendly community.

thanks for any advice you can give.
