Looking for single family under 100k move in ready, mobile parks, and 8 to 15 unit multi family property under 250k. Is the crime or better yet economy and job market looking any better than 2014? When i left All American freeway was being build along with lots of other construction. What are your thoughts

Every time I ride down Skibo Road, it seems like the number of homeless people standing at the intersections begging for money increases ten-fold. Maybe it's just me? Take that for what it's worth in regards to the job market. Crime is still a problem, I wouldn't say it's any better, but I wouldn't say its gotten worse either.

There's always been homeless in Fayetteville, but them standing at intersections has been a more recent years thing. Some local community groups have teamed up with some homeless to sell Fayetteville Observer papers at various intersections.

Fayetteville's/Cumberland County population growth has been flat overall. Most of the growth now is in Hoke County and Harnett County

Cumberland County lags as NC population booms - News - The Fayetteville Observer - Fayetteville, NC

Now, if you're strictly limited to investing in Fayetteville, then Western Fayetteville, and areas around I-295 (Fayetteville Outer Loop) (like North Ramsey Street), is where you want to look. I-295 is going to shape how Fayetteville looks in the future. I would expect future developments to pop up along these areas. Ramsey Street and Western Fayetteville have seen a lot of growth during the years. Downtown Fayetteville is also growing too with the baseball stadium and other projects.
