Hello!

Please help me find Comcast/Xfinity service areas in North Carolina. If anyone has service through them, please comment the city. I know everyone has differing opinions of their service, please do not rant- I’m simply looking for help locating areas serviced by them (their websites and customer service have conflicting information). Thank you in advance!!!

Comcast/Xfinity is only available in the Yanceyville area and 2 areas in the far northeastern corner of the state, around Elizabeth City and Ahoskie:

Their WiFi hot spot search shows coverage in most of NC. I’ve seen the link you posted before, even the store listing, but the hot spot search shows a widespread service area. That is why I’m asking for peoples response, not the website information. https://hotspots.wifi.xfinity.com/mobile/

Wifi isn't cable. I can tell you Comcast/Xfinity doesn't provide service in Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Wilmington or Southport. Good luck.

One can only access Xfinity wifi if one is an Xfinity internet customer, which one can only get if in NC if one lives in the Xfinity service area. Same for Xfinity mobile.

Due to Xfinity's very limited footprint in NC, I don't think you're going to get much feedback.

I can use my Comcast WiFi in most of urban North Carolina. They have agreements with other companies to use their WiFi for Comcast customers who are in NC.

BC, thank you. I’m aware of the usage, I’m trying to pinpoint the true service areas vs using their websites. I thought it might be best to ask the “locals” as they would know what’s in their area. The Comcast/Xfinity websites show different information which contradicts each other, that’s another reason for me asking people who live around NC.

TARHEEL, do you only use their internet or are you able to have other services as well? Trying to pinpoint the cities that Comcast/Xfinity is available in.

BC, yes- you wouldn’t believe how incredibly UNHELPFUL they are. Everything I’ve found out to this point has been on my own. I asked his HR if they could connect us with the HR offices in the states/areas we’re interest and they are “researching it” for us. That was a wk and a half ago. *♀️ Literally everything I’ve found has been due to my own research online and on his employee website. They’ve been no help in any of the ways I’ve contacted them.
