Glad you like Zebulon, my advice... stick to zebulon not franklin county lol. Franklin county is gorgeous and all but you can get that kind of country closer in with more hospitable people imo. People in franklin county, unless your in some neighborhood might not be the most open. Of course plenty of that in zebulon also... even among younger folks. I say this from my experience... most folks are good and all but you dont want to fall in with some rotten apples. Lots of people are private property minded with signs saying no warning shot due to shortage of ammo and whatnot.
Idk, i just feel as an outsider it would be a bit more difficult to fit in and gain acceptance. It takes a while. Speaking from experience. Even some younger folks dont like "yankees".
This isnt really just true of north carolina or franklin county. More like most rural areas, its going to take a bit more to fit in versus a city where you just sort of blend in and meet all sorts of people.
I hope this doesnt necassarily deter you, its just something to keep in mind.
No. None of the corporate limits of Zebulon are in Franklin, Nash or Johnston Counties. Mailing addresses may be, but no part of the actual city are.
The poster was clearly referring to the countryside areas of Zebulon, not necessarily the "city" (town). Most people who refer to Zebulon are not referring to just homes within the municipality. It's a spread-out area. Stop nitpicking at people trying to have a conversation.
I lived not far from there, OP. And Muslim12's advice is pretty solid.

Take your own advice.
