Sorry, missed the living on the water part.

Of course, there are things I'd like to change about Concord (very dated library, worse traffic signals I've ever seen), but I'm assuming those who ask such questions want to hear why we like/recommend an area. When someone has asked, I've given some things I wasn't crazy about. But I don't recall saying Concord or any other place was a utopia or perfect, no more or less than anyone else. I'm just proud ouf where I live as I'm sure you are of where you live.

Are there any riverfront communities in NC worth having a look at?

Thank you.

I would like about 10 acres out in the country in or near Raleigh. I like being in a central location between the mountains and the coast.

Nowhere In North Carolina Because Too Many People Are Moving There And I Hate Going Where Everyone Else Is. Soon North Carolina Will No Longer Be Beautiful, Just A Waste Of Urban Decay

It Scares Me Actually, Why Is Everyone Going To The Same Place At An Alarming Rate? Wouldn't That Just Make You Avoid It More Because You Know Housing Prices And Insurance Are Going To Shoot Through The Roof Any Day Now

There's no place like home.

Amen!! I'd definitely live on my family's farm in northeastern Wilson County. It's certainly not the most exciting part of the state, but it's just home for me. The farm has been in my family since around the time of the Civil War, and I'm gonna at least keep my part of it that way! One of these days I might have enough money to build a dream house out there.
