A company already in Fayetteville that specializes in management consulting and engineering services, has plans to increase its workforce by 208 in Fayetteville, totaling around 248 employees. The company is unnamed, and is only mentioned in the Fayetteville Observer article as “Project Intelligence”.

Of the 208 proposed jobs, the lowest paying will be $50,000.

Governor Roy Cooper will be visiting Fayetteville tomorrow at noon, and hopefully announce the name of the company, and confirm the Fayetteville Observer article.

My guess is that it’s probably Boeing.

Update: The company has been announced today as Booz Allen Hamilton, and it is confirmed that they will be adding 208 jobs in Fayetteville. The company’s Fayetteville office is located at 4200 Morganton Road, also known as the First National Bank Building. The company plans to relocate somewhere else in Cumberland County during phase 2 of their project, to accommodate the large growth of the area.
