Default Reports on Pollution by ZIP Code
A site I've found valuable is www.scorecard.org
It's free to use and is chock-full of information on hazardous pollution.

Just put in ZIP code of any city, and read detailed information regarding air pollution, water quality, superfund sites, who the polluters are, what chemicals are released, and how that ZIP compares to others across the states.
