I live in FL and I'm planning to move to North Carolina because of a job they're requesting me to do. The job would be in Marshville or Warsaw. Which one is better to live in? It would be only me and my husband plus my dog. Is there any other areas that I could move but still make it to one of those places for the job?
Both are very small towns. Warsaw is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, while Marshville is close enough to Charlotte that you could enjoy the amenities there with just a short drive. Not sure how much that means to you--if you like small towns, I'm sure either location would suit you. Warsaw does have the advantage of being an hour or so from the coast, and there's great barbecue in that part of the state, but there's also a lot of economic depression and backwards thinking.
I think if it were me, I'd opt for Marshville and look to live somewhere towards Monroe, NC so I'm just a bit closer to Charlotte. But that's just me--I like the things a bigger city offers.
With the new toll road trips to charlotte are much quicker from marshville
